In 1985 came the movie ‘Arjun’ where he plays the role of a jobless youth who wants to earn his money the proper way but he had his temper right on his nose and small little things would irritate him. He soon took up with local goons and then fighting with them he too turned into a gangster carrying guns and knives. His portrayal touched many jobless youths and they all somehow connected with him, this connection made the film a hit and his portrayal of an angry young person who would take matters into his own hands made him the new age action star.
